The pathological accumulation of lymphatic fluid in tissues can be genetic or the side effect of surgery, and it can depend on various causes. Lymphedema, in fact, is nothing more than the formation of blockages in one or more points of the “LYMPHATIC highways.” These will be some of the topics at the center of the 29th World Congress of the International Society of Lymphology, which will be held in Genoa from September 11 to 15.
