Combined, highly complex, physical therapy, also called CDP (Complex Decongestive Physiotherapy). It features the following actions: appropriate hygiene, manual lymphatic drainage, multilayer functional bandages, and physical exercise. In particular, manual lymphatic drainage was developed by Vödder from 1936 to 1939, and later upgraded and extended to a more modern technique by the “German School” of Prof. M. Földi, as part of the above mentioned CDP.
