The Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN) founded in 1998, is a non-profit organization recognized globally for their efforts to advance education, research, and advocacy for lymphatic disease. Campisi Clinic has been a LE&RN certified LYMPHATIC DISEASE (LD) SURGERY CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (COE) since 2020
Dr. Campisi’s contributions to the medical domain of lymphology can be highlighted by his long history with the International Society of Lymphology of which he became a member of in 2005. He is now the youngest ever member of the ISL to be president. Voted into office by the executive committee of the International Society of Lymphology’s at their 29th world congress meeting of which he hosted in his hometown of Genoa, Italy in September 2023.
Dr. Corrado Campisi ( President-Elect 2023-2025, President 2025-2027) and his Father Prof. Corradino Campisi (President 1995-1997) are the only father and son in the history of the society to have both been elected president of the ISL.
The International Society of Lymphology (ISL) is the leading organization on all things related to lymphology and its related fields. Established during the First International Symposium on Lymphology in Zurich in July 1966. The ISL has since held its international congress biannually in various locations all over the globe. Dedicated to promoting all activities aimed at advancing and spreading knowledge in the field of lymphology and its related topics, stimulating experimental and clinical research, and improving the care of patients with lymphatic disorders.
The society has over 350 members from 44 nations and is affiliated with The European Society of Lymphology, The Japanese Society of Lymphology, The German Speaking Section of Lymphology, the Association de Lymphologie de Langue Francais, the British Lymphology Interest Group, Club de Linfologia (Spain), Asociation Argentina de Linfologia, and the Latin-Mediterranean Chapter.
